Below are just a few of the horrifying ordeals that took place in the early morning hours of June 15th 2010. Do You have a story? Not Yet, Huh?
Don't Ever Forget, This Could Happen To You!!
My name is Alison Mayne
My father is Tomcat 1%er. He is the brother who died that day. My house was destroyed the morning of the raid June 15th. The ATF took shovels (our own shovels at that) to every window in the house and even one of the sliding glass doors. They tore apart dressers and closets. They took so many memories we had of my father as evidence. They dug up our gardens and even dug up one of the dogs we had buried on the property. I signed for the house that night in the shape it was in. I didn't want the ATF to board anything up. I did it myself. There was a clause in our homeowners insurance that made it null and void should the damage be caused by a government agency. Meaning we had to pay to fix everything ourselves. The house was riddled with bullet holes. The ATF labeled all of them, and even spray painted where my father stood when he was killed. There was a lot of blood on the floor when we were finally able to go inside to assess the damage. They broke 5 windows (4x5 foot sliders) and a sliding glass door in the house, a window in my fathers Winnebago, and both back windows of the crew cab in his truck. We boarded up the windows and door until we could afford to replace them. On top of that, we had the funeral costs. This site is wonderful for these families. I must say though, I am so jealous of them. I'd give everything I have ever had to see my father again. He means more to me than I know how to put into words. Our lives were ruined that day. I lay awake at night because I know he was alone and scared that morning. Looking at where the bullet holes are, I could have lost my mother as well. This hell my life has become keeps changing and never for the better. My father was my best friend. I just wanted to say I'm sorry to all the families who have a father or a husband or a brother in jail. All I have left of my dad is half of his body mass in a fish shaped cookie jar. He would find that morbidly funny. My dad still means the world to me. Right now, the only thing I can donate is support. If there's any families near South Portland, ME, I'd love to hear from them. If any one needs a friend right now, it's anyone involved in this. I hate what my dad is going to miss. The house, my 25th birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving. I'm in a wedding in September and I have to watch my best friend walk down the aisle with her dad but I‘ll never do it with mine. I just want to hug him again you know? This didn't have to happen. IN LOVING MEMORY OF TOMCAT 1%ER

Harold “Lil Dave”Herndon is handicapped with a prosthetic leg. He also has a 3 year old daughter with Quad Cerebral Palsy. She was quietly in her bed asleep when the fully armed and masked AFT agents rammed down the front door of their home at 6:00 am. The door is un-repairable and had to be replaced. The agents then kicked down the bedroom door and pointed automatic weapons at them as they lay in their bed being handcuffed. They took Dave away within 30 to 45 minutes after handcuffing him. The agents did let him put on a pair pants before taking him. They wouldn’t let him say goodbye to his daughter. She now wonders where her daddy is and cries for him daily. He is now so far away. They let Kim put on a pair shorts. She was only dressed in a T-shirt and pair of panties when they stormed in. Dave’s 72 year old mother came walking out of her bedroom and was ordered to the floor. She was terrified. They were then told to sit on the sofa in their living room while the agents were ransacking the master bedroom. Kim was not allowed to watch and see what they were taking. He is fortunate to have a wonderful woman in his life that is now taking care of “Katie Bug” the best she can until something gives. Items such as pictures, jewelry, and clothing with outlaw logo’s were taken. They even took his medical records. They also took his motorcycle. This is outrageous!!

On the morning of June 15th 2010, at approximately 5:45am, we were abruptly awaken to the sound of our dog barking violently at the pounding on our front door. My husband jumped from our bed, grabbed his gun and ran down the stairs to confront who was trying to gain access to our home. He was greeted by numerous ATF agents and local law enforcement. I jumped from bed to see him lay his gun on the floor by the front door. I was standing at our bedroom door asking who was in our home. Who are you? Why do you have my husband in handcuffs? I was told to come down stairs because I needed to be handcuffed too. ATF agents asked who else was in our house. I replied my son. They then wanted to storm through his bedroom door. I am shouting back at them not to please do not do this. If you can’t go in his room by knocking and opening his door then let me get him up. I explained to these men intruding my home that I did have a gun on my nightstand and I wanted them to come get it. I did not want to become a victim of a “we thought she had a gun” incident. I was told to get pants on, as I was sleeping in a t-shirt and panties. My husband is handcuffed in just his underwear and t-shirt. I went downstairs to be handcuffed and sat on the couch of my own home, and to my horror they handcuffed my son and sat him next to me. They whisked my husband away to another room in the house. All this time I am asking Them why did they have to handcuff my son? WHY? They respond, for your and our safety….REALLY!!! I kept asking what they were doing in my home and they could not or would not tell me. I sat there crying. Seeing my child in handcuffs was more than I could bear as a mother. I told the ATF agents to do what they wanted to me, but to let my son go. He has nothing to do with anything. They refused. I had to ask permission to use my own bathroom, and ask permission for my son to have a glass of water. In my own home! As we sat there, we were heavily guarded by an ATF agent 3-4 feet from me and my son, while CMPD was blocking my front door. I still am not sure what is happening to my husband. All this time the agents are ransacking my home, throwing items out of drawers, destroying my closet and other areas of my home. I watched helplessly as they started to bring personal items of ours and pile them in a stack by the front door. It is now getting late and I have to go to work. Well I was going to be late, so I had to ask permission again to use my own cell phone to call my employer. At first they refused. They finally did and I had to call my job just to say I will be late, not sure what time I will get there, but I am coming in. My husband is finally brought to the front room where me and my son were sitting. They gave him some jeans but would not take his handcuffs off so he can zip and button them. I had to do this for him. These ATF agents took many items from my home, personal computers, our LEGAL guns, which we both posses carry conceal permits. If you’re a criminal you can’t posses a carry conceal permit. They took his vest, 16 articles of other clothing, a helmet, CD roms, papers and our ammunition, amongst many other items. What were they looking for? Drugs? Illegal weapons? An abundance of cash? NONE OF WHICH WAS FOUND! I now can’t sleep at night. I am up and down all night looking out my windows waiting for their return because they told my husband they would be back to get him soon. My husband lost his job as a direct result of this incident. We now face the potential of losing our home and everything we LEGALLY worked for. These ATF agents did exactly what they are accusing our men of doing. Who is the real criminals here? Who used explosives, excessive force, flash bangs and tear gas to gain entry to homes and clubhouses in the wee hours of the morning while we slept? The harrowing experience we faced that morning will never be forgotten, nor forgiven. You can take our material possessions but you will NEVER take our spirit.

Our loved ones are incarcerated far away from home yet they are “innocent until proven guilty”?? Their wives, children and friends have to travel for hours to get a 20 minute visit. Some get an hour if they are lucky. Most can’t afford to travel that far much less have means of transportation. Some family members and friends traveled for hundreds of miles for the arraignment hearing on June 29th, 2010, only to be told upon arrival at the Spottswood W.Robinson and Robert R. Merhige, Jr. Federal Courthouse in Richmond, VA, that the hearing was CLOSED. The family and friends were told they could view the procedure in an adjacent room via video. We were denied the right TO STAND UP AND SHOW OUR LOVE, RESPECT, AND SUPPORT to our loved ones. We later found out the courtroom was filled with those from the media. It seems as if the US Government is trying to break down those that are accused and their families. If they are so sure of a conviction then why go to these extremes? It doesn’t make sense. Innocent until proven guilty? Husbands, fathers, brothers and sons were swiftly taken away while their families were detained in their own homes. Innocent children as young as 3 years old were awoken by shouting members of tactical teams, armed with automatic weapons and dressed like terrorists. The following stories were told by innocent family members that experienced what was brought on by 5 ATF agents who lied and deceived to infiltrate the Outlaws MotorcycleClub. They used explosives and gun fire to blow open doors and outside walls to get inside of the clubhouses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. What was the reason for such violent behavior? Is this what they mean by “Serve and Protect”? Check the internet for comments made by the neighbors of these clubhouses and homes and read the many newspaper articles. One was shot and killed in Maine that horrible day. Others could have been seriously hurt or killed. What would you do in the early morning hours as you lay sleeping in bed and what looked like terrorist stormed into your home without warning? Keep in mind that each occurrence took place around 6:00 am on a Tuesday morning. People are normally in bed asleep or up getting ready for work not to mention some of them had children close by. Have they done what these men are being accused of “planning” to do? I wonder if the Feds “planned” what they were going to do that day, but carried it out? Huh??
